Waiver of Responsibility

I, ___________________________________, the undersigned, understand and accept full responsibility for all of my actions while visiting or accepting a volunteer, intern, or assistant position at Wildlife Shelter, Inc. (WSI). I further understand that the animals with whom I work through WSI are wild or defined as not tame and as such are dangerous. It is with this knowledge I hereby accept such and assume any and all risk which may arise therefrom.

In assuming such risk, I hereby agree to save, defend, and hold harmless WSI, WSI's Board of Directors and any volunteers, interns, and/or assisting persons on WSI property or other location where an animal may be rescued, the school which endorsed my participation (if applicable), all veterinarians assisting WSI, California Department of Fish and Game, Nevada Fish and Wildlife, and U.S. Federal Fish and Wildlife from any and all liability whatsoever which may be caused, in whole or in part, by my negligence or that of WSI.
